HB 110
Rual Economic Development Incentives
This bill increases the maximum grant amount from $25,000 to $250,000 that GOED may award to a business each year as part of its rural economic development program. The government shouldn’t be in the business of handing out taxpayer dollars to select businesses. While government continues to give out corporate welfare under the veil of economic development, the evidence is clear that these policies don’t work.
