HB 146

Concurrent Enrollment Amendments

This bill allows 9th and 10th graders to earn college credit in concurrent enrollment courses, currently reserved to 11th and 12th graders. These students are already enrolled in these courses at their high schools but are currently not allowed to receive the college credit that their older classmates are receiving. Extending eligibility can help students saves thousands of dollars in future college expenses, as well as help them enter the workforce much quicker.
